M.A.R.E. TC FVG is promoting a discussion on the future of skills and competitiveness in the maritime and shipbuilding sector, bringing together European and international perspectives with the needs of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
The event is aimed at companies, universities, training providers and public institutions interested in the future development of the sector.

The morning session will open with contributions from the OECD, the European Commission and SEA Europe on industrial policies, employment and the future challenges facing the European shipbuilding industry. The Sectoral Skills Strategy developed within the LeaderSHIP project will also be presented, with a particular focus on turning strategy into action.
The discussion will then continue at regional level through a Policy Café coordinated by EnAIP FVG, designed to encourage dialogue among participants, share experiences and identify local needs and priorities in light of the challenges and transformations of the coming years. Key topics will include human capital, the green and digital transition, competitiveness and public policies.

The objective is to gather insights and recommendations from regional stakeholders and share them with European policymakers and industry representatives.

The event is organised within the framework of the European project LeaderSHIP and is part of the Barcolana 58 programme.
