Dual-fuel: achievements on industrial vehicles and possible transfer to small boats

Alberto Bonetti – Lombard Mobility Cluster

The application of alternative fuels is a current goal of the whole mobility sector and in the waterborne one, it is more frequently related to ship rather than small vessels. The speech will investigate the opportunity to transfer the achievements of the automotive sector into the maritime to small vessels.

Innovation trends: virtual reality applications

The well-established familiarity in civil society with Virtual Reality allows today the shipbuilding and nautical industry to exploit it in its process and to reap great benefits throughout the product lifecycle.

This workshop will provide a survey of the state of the art of this technology and will present targeted software, services and case studies of their recent applications in the field of interest to you; at the end, a testimony by Fincantieri. [In the framework of BEAT Project]

APERITECH: how innovative is your firm? 

Guido Bortoluzzi – Università degli Studi di Trieste

Participants will be shown real applications of climate measurements performed, typical problems arising with unproper innovation management and will be challenged in measuring their innovation ability.

An ad hoc web-based tool will be presented and participants will have the opportunity to measure their climate and then receive the benchmark report. [In the framework of BEAT Project]
